The Alliance Speakers Bureau is a service of the National Alliance of Christian Home Education Leadership (the Alliance). The Alliance is a co-operative venture of Christian state-wide homeschool organizations in the United States. [Link to list of Alliance organizations]
The Alliance Speakers Bureau provides a free service to speakers who desire to speak at homeschool conferences and events and to Alliance member organizations searching for speakers for their events.
Alliance member organizations recommend speakers to other Alliance organizations through the Alliance Speakers Bureau. The recommended speakers are then contacted and offered an opportunity to input information which would help Alliance members find appropriate speakers for their homeschool conferences and events. Speakers cannot make self-referrals to the Alliance Speakers Bureau.
A username is generated for you when you are recommended to the Alliance Speakers Bureau by a state organization. A temporary password is machine generated and may be changed by the speaker.
You are responsible to maintain the confidentiality of your login ID and password associated with your Alliance Speakers Bureau Account.
Your personal data (name, contact information), photo, bio, session and honorarium information will only be shared with Alliance Member organizations. Your information is not sold or shared beyond Alliance member organizations. Any specific arrangements made with an individual state or event is intended to be private between the speaker and that organization. It is not placed in the Alliance Speakers Bureau.
The Alliance may from time to time contact you directly via email, phone, or mail to remind you to update your information in the Alliance Speakers Bureau or encourage your participation in the bureau. We will NOT share your contact information for broadcast purposes to anyone.
Alliance member organizations will use your information to inquire directly about your speaking services for their events. When they contact you, it does not guarantee they will choose you to speak at their event.
This is a free service to you so there are no financial obligations.
You are encouraged to keep your contact information, photo, bio, sessions, and honorarium information current in order to attract speaking engagements.
You are solely responsible for any content you may provide and the Alliance has no responsibility to you or to Alliance members for the accuracy or reliability of that content.
The Alliance reserves the right to pre-screen all content and may remove anything at any time and for any reason.
The Alliance is not responsible for upkeep or content of any information you have posted in the Alliance Speakers Bureau.
The Alliance is not responsible for contractual agreements between Alliance members and Speakers.
Either party can terminate the Agreement at any time and for any reason. If you wish to have your name and speaking information removed from the Alliance Speaker's Bureau, please contact speakers@nachel.org.
